Do you know him personally? He seems a throughly alright sort. Extremely intelligent too. Could have succeeded in many walks of life I’d imagine. He was very pleasant to that Man Utd fan from Donegal who wrote a letter to him pleading with him to make Liverpool lose for a change. A widely respected figure who seems to encourage great loyalty amongst his playing group.

That was taken out of context. The relationship he has with some of Africa’s finest footballers speaks volumes. They relish playing under him.

Some of his comments about match officials are disgraceful, bullying and trying to interfere and pressurise referees and regulatory bodies shows he doesn’t care for the integrity about football.

Your bias coming to the fore again. St Johnstone are Scottish Cup and League Cup holders and drew with Galatasaray a few months back.
