Liverpool Football Club 2022/23

Craig on Anfield Agenda sounds like a complete dolt.

Look, there’s a fair amount of hypocrisy around Klopp and Liverpool in the media and it seems like the fans swallow the bullshit too if the lads on here are anything to go by.

City won the domestic treble and Pep got it both barrells for not winning the Champions league, he’ll be deemed a failure at City unless he wins it. He’s won far, far more domestically, in fact he’s won more domestically in one season than Klopp has in his entire time at Liverpool.

Klopp gets a pass for winning 2 cups then…

It’s fine margins. Liverpool have got to 3 European Cup finals in 5 years. They’ve won one. They’ve been unlucky to be up against Pep’s City side domestically but have still won a league. It’s been a wonderful few years for any Liverpool fan.

City have unlimited financial resources

I watched 6 minutes on YouTube this morning on Moses with AC/DC Thunderstruck background music & you can tell him I said he’s one of the best midfielders in world football at the minute.

Klopp has spent more than Pep in the last 5 years.

I know it means more and all but lying to yourselves isn’t going to help

He couldn’t have won more domestically than Klopp in one season considering Klopp has won every domestic trophy available to him. Pep has to deal with that kind of scrutiny because of his massive spending outlay and the perception that the League title is the mean at City now considering their financial muscle. They haven’t finished outside the top 4 since 2010. Completely different environment to the one Klopp inherited at Liverpool.

Very few others could have afforded the 900k a week for Erling Braut Haaland.

more excuses and lies. Liverpool have spent more than City in the last 5 years. Which is around the lifecycle of a team.

Liverpool open to getting a midfielder in on loan it seems. Arthur Melo v2

Pep’s net spend since his arrival in 2016 is €581 million. Klopp’s is €242 million. Pep has spent over a billion in gross for Christ sake😂 Ye’re starting to earn a bit in sales now because the owners basically went to La Masia, took everything that worked for Barcelona in their glory period and plonked it in Manchester at an enormous cost to try produce more players through the academy.

Liverpool already had that in place in Melwood with the famed academy? Do you want teams not to be able to compete at all? Should the hack of selling duds from the academy be the reserve of Liverpool mate, that’s how ye’ve bufffed the net spend for a decade

How did Liverpool bridge the gap from non champions league football to champions league football, who funded that?

You go on about wages and then completely ignore the fact Salah is one of the highest paid players in the World

I don’t give a bollox about money. It never scored a goal and City have gotten far more transfers wrong than right since they got the money and blew a fair bit of it.

This, we’ve done it on a shoestring rhetoric is nauseating from Liverpool. Pure lies

:grinning: :grinning: :grinning:

City fans waiting until after the summer they offload a load of squad players and sign Haaland for a below market value transfer fee but the GDP of a small country on agents fees, fathers fees abd wages to suddenly bring up net spend :smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley::smiley:

I wonder did Nunez not have an agent? Is he playing for free too. A special, special club.

oh - wait no - he’s with Mendes…

The total cost for Nunez, with fees and bonuses - not including wage bonuses will be 144 million over the 6 years of his contract.

just for clarity

Haaland will cost 80 odd million when all is said and done

Hopefully he has the same agent as Cavani. That lad was some operator.

And Haaland is £193m via the same source. That’s if we naively believe the club with fake sponsors and dubious FFP shenanigans aren’t also paying him or his entourage under the table.

Klopp had a total rebuild on his hands. Pep inherited a league winning squad with De Bruyne, Kompany, Aguero etc, spent twice as much as Klopp and is still searching for something that Klopp has won yet Klopp is the failure.

A City fan pontificating after all their “fake” sponsorship deals and breaches of FFP😅 The Liverpool pyjamas sales haven’t even been factored into this discussion yet. A serious earner on the global market.

this is genuinely hilarious coming from you, of all the scousers.

Hopefully the Europa league means more next season mate.

A nasty turn to this thread.

It’s 2023, cant we all get along?
