Lockdown 2021 Run Challenge

5km earlyish this morning. Coming back from an ankle/foot injury so have been resting it since Saturday morning. Feels fine again. Morning running is the bomb, much better than evening Iā€™m finding, sets you up for the day.

Iā€™ve 92km done for the month  Will hit the ton tomorrow.

It was pitch dark for ours and absolutely lashing. Couldnā€™t get onto the river as itā€™s over the banks by about 6 feet, a good 20 feet above summer level.
Had to run through some water up to the ankles, but pace was good. Felt ok once I settled into it. Heā€™s sub 30 10k :grimacing:
Fortunately these days he gets injured every time he gets fit.

Heā€™s a gent alright

Hereā€™s a photo herself just sent. The path is the top bank, about 10 feet above the path beside the river that we usually run on.

Got out for a good 5km this evening so thats 38km done since I started on the 10th but I think that will be too little too late for this month.

Iā€™ll get a slow 8km Friday and maybe a faster 10km then on Sunday.

Nice run today @fenwaypark
