Look over there it’s Sean Finn

I see Gillane & Lynch at the Deli counter fairly regularly these days. They must be sickened that their delivered meals haven’t arrived and they have to eat that shit.

How much are you selling a hot chicken roll with coleslaw for these dats?

Can you report on their manner? Would they be very understated in how they order a hot chicken roll or would they be giving it the big one?

I heard Cian wolfed down two helpings of Bosco’s finesht Chicken Curry, half rice/half chips, below in Timahoe a few weeks ago.

That the Paddocks classic chicken curry, rice and chips?

The little cubed potatoes were a revelation when it first opened.

The rest of the fare on offer was next to vomit inducing though.

The student restaurant was the only way to go.

You get a higher quality meal in the Scholars alright but more costly.

It’s a Spar shop now I think.

Half of it is. Still a bar in the other half

The old function room?

In the corner under the arch basically

The shop is all the rest of it

Yeah that was the function room. Think they had an Irish name on it at one stage.

I was on the board of management for short time. Mick Dolan was some character.

The Scholars rocked up with their gawdy decor designed to attract the type of patrons who considered themselves above drinking discounted Murphy’s and Fosters.

Get it right man.

Thry made shite of The Stables when they renovated it.

The paddock a serious lasagne amd chips witha side of coleslaw.

One a week as a treat. Roast ham with honey glaze and cabbage. Creamy mashed spuds on a pissing wet day. Unrale

Did they ban smoking outside? Heard that bad form. The outside jacks window was a great way in when they were charging for international night

In 1999 they made it open plan and got rid of all the old nooks ans crannys that made it like a real pub.
