It’s hard to know what to make of the Ronaldo situation. Lot of it doesn’t make sense but I’d be fairly positive he’s really strengthened ETHs hand here. He’s galvanised the whole club.

The Ronaldo acquisition was a commercial decision by Woodward, helped across the line by retired players and Fergie. Pity it didnt work out but you have to roll the dice.

ETH has dealt with this perfectly. Add that to the improvement in performances and players like Rashford, Dalot, De Gea and Lindelof it’s baffling that CR7 claims he doesn’t respect him.

Ralf Ragnick? How was he treated appallingly? He earned a sizeable wage for the second half of the season and acquired even worse results than OGS. If anything he was extremely fortunate to even be in the job in the first place.

He told the board to forget about trying to sign Haaland. He told to sell them to sell Ronaldo and target somebody like Julian Alvarez and list of other young players.
