Theyâll surely have the tile wrapped up by Christmas if heâs adding Players to a team that hammered the Double domestic cup winners and EPL and CL runners up.

Itâs bizarre that no other big club has come in for him. We keep hearing he doesnât want to go to Man Utd - presumably because they wonât be playing Champions League - but you would think this would alert other clubs around Europe? Heâs a fine player. Maybe the highest transfer fee turning teams off.
He hasnât said he doesnât want to go to Utd, heâs said he doesnât want to leave Barcelona.
If he says he wants to leave they donât have to pay him the âŹ17m they owe him. If they want him to leave theyâll have to come up with some sort of settlement.

He hasnât saud he doesnât want to join Utd at any point. Murtough and Arnold wouldnât have been in Barcelona if he hasnât given some indication that he was willing to move.
The issue is that Barcelona seem to yhink yhat they can get away without paying him the âŹ17m heâs owed while shelling out âŹ200m for Raphinha, Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva.
Theyâre are a joke of a club.

The La Liga TV presenter there seems to think itâs the reverse. That De Jong doesnât want to go to Man Utd and that it has nothing to do with the âŹ17 million. It doesnât appear that heâs doing cartwheels at the thoughts of a move to Old Trafford in any case.
I wouldnât be overly concerned at what a TV presenter saysâŚI wouldnât be asking Gary Lineker for the inside track on Liverpool.
This is a stand off between De Jong and Barcelona - Utd have done all they can do by agreeing a few with Barca. They canât officially discus personal terms with De Jongâs representatives until he settles the issue one way or the other.
This would have been the case regardless of what club was trying to sign him.
And in relation to the cartwheels, FDJ canât show any indication that he is willing to leave before Barcelona pay up or it could impact any legal challenge.
