Perhaps I’m just a tad cynical about the modern goalie but I wonder did De Gea feel some contact and decide to go down, presuming he would get a free out, without realising it was his own man?
He’d no idea what was happening with the play. He got hurt by his own player. It’s no big deal. You just made a load of things up.
