Fact is there’s zero chance of man united winning a title for 6 or 7 seasons. Massive clear out now needed again and that’s very tricky to achieve given the wages man united over pay.

Mitten has been very good commenting on this. The entire coaching staff has been replaced mid season, Rangnick wanted to keep Carrick and McKenna longer so the change would be more gradual. It’ll take time to bed in a new regime, it’s like brining in an entire new management to a business and expecting there to be instant success- madness.
Reading between the lines of the various Man United correspondents there seems to be a fair bit of batching from the lads in the England squad like Maguire (who has no right giving his pathetic performances), Shaw, etc. They seem unhappy at thr expectations of the new coaches and Ronaldo.

That’s true but in the final few seasons Ferguson continually moaned about the lack of value in the transfer market. By the time he left the squad was in an awful shape. It was miracle by him to win that final title.
There was no midfield. Scholes, giggs, cleverly, Anderson and carrack.
