Manchester United 21/22

It was hilarious back in those days, The Boss would send out a midfield of Cleverly and Fabio and they’d go out and beat Arsenal 2-0 . Nobody would bat an eye-lid either.

He was some man.

You berate Jurgen Klopp for taking until his 4th full season in charge to win the Premier League having inherited a threadbare squad yet give the expensively assembled Man Utd and all future managers a free pass for the next 7 years😂

Doesn’t matter who the manager is. The club is run terribly at the top and shit roles down hill.

He won the EPL with what he had. Spent little. If he’d been staying, with Gill still heading things up. I’ve no doubt that a midfielder or two would have been signed. Instead Woodward was there not able to complete a signing for Moyes apart from Fellaini after they missed out on playing less when a release clause expired.

The sad thing is that he turned around and let Van Gaal go absolutely fucking nuts in the transfer market, making decisions that they’re still paying for today.

Oh I’ve no doubt there was other factors at play. Woodward just knew nothing about football and everyone knows it.

It was surely Jose rather than Van Gaal who went mad in the transfer market

Van Gaal signed

Falcao
Daley Blind
Angel Di Maria
Rojo
Ander Herrera
Luke Shaw
Schweinsteiger
Valdes
Sergio Romero
Memphis Depay
Scheiderlein
Darmian
Martial

Fucking hell. Which agent has the beavis and butthead looking assholes ear?

Johnny Evans would still do a good job for United. City were in for him when he was leaving United and I was hoping he’d sign, he’d have shored up that back 4 at the time before Dias came in

Van Gaal spent 275 million and absolutely destroyed the club

Honest question for United fans here: should Moyes have been given more time?

Brendan Rodgers had a poor start to his Liverpool managerial career (and a poor finish too) but in his second season nearly led them to the holy grail.

A clear message to the competition for 5th place. You may outplay us but you won’t outspend us.

Jesus no.

Imagine what he’d get paid if he tried a leg

No, too big a job for him too soon. There’s a story that he showed Ferdinand and Vidic a video of Jagielka to display how he wanted them to defend.

what is wrong with that? He has to show a reference point for a piece of tactical knowledge.

Probably tried everything to explain it to that dopey cunt Ferdinand.

Shows the egos he was dealing with

United mean business.

They’re not united.
They’re not mean.
They’re rubbish at business.

Too big a job too soon? Moyes was 50 when he got the job, had spent a decade managing Everton on a shoestring budget and got them in the top 6th on something like 6 occasions.

Moyes would have sorted it out if he was properly backed and given time. He was undermined from Day 1 because he was an old school proper manager and the fickle fans and players wanted a hipster.

Applying your too soon Moyes rationale to the latest incumbent, how could they even have contemplated hiring this Rangnick chancer? No managerial experience in England and a lifetime in management spent mananging Schalkes and Stuttgarts to mid table finishes in the Bundesliga.

Is getting Everton to sixth any sort off achievement? He was the wrong appointment. You really have issues with foreigners.
