not sure of the tax situation in UK re BIK but id say its routed through the club, rather than directly with the player to minimise the tax implications
I think that loophole has been well and truly closed for all but EV here.
You can use a pre-tax salary sacrifice lease I think, but that can have other knock on effects on pension etc.

Bruno 47m, Fred 47m. Van de Beek 35m, Mata 37m, Matic 40m, Martial 35m, Sancho 70m and academy graduate Pogna 90m.
Other than those few outliers they’ve been quite frugal.

I’d say reading between the lines ronaldo will be off in the summer.
Pogba, Matic, mata, Cavani and Henderson will be off.
The wage budget is going to be absolutely slashed this summer.

At the moment it’s possible united have 14 or 15 first team players on the books next season.
