Manchester United Football Club 20/21

What are they going to do with the 50million 22 year old Wan-Bissaka if they promote these boys?

Dunno. I havenā€™t been made aware yet.

Youā€™d want four full backs in your squad.

But one of those lads is taking over at right back according to @croppy_boy

Surely you wouldnā€™t have a young English international that cost Ā£50 million as the back up right back?

The fucking Mirror. And this after you pedalled Daily Mail shit on this forum before.

its from the BBC, who linked to the mirror story. are you saying its not credible that the uber genius would offer kante less money than hes on now?

Make him spend 6 months learning to cross the ball. Then he would be the best full back in the league.

Buy Kante from Chelsea.

Great minds.

I believe united are in for Kante lads

Iā€™m saying that the Mirror is a pile of shit and pedals absolute dirt like your beloved Daily Mail.

Nothing trustworthy in it.

Kante would be an unreal signing -

Kante is the final part of the puzzle.

The last 29 year old on 300k a week they bought worked out well.

They shouldnā€™t let that put them off. This time will be different.

Unless itā€™s a repeat of the class of 92ā€™ then itā€™s unlikely that so many homegrown players would make it through at the one time.

Theyā€™d finished 2nd in the league 6 months prior to Ole taking over on 81 points.

When Ole took over at Christmas 2018, they were 6th. Got them into 4th and the Champions League places after a new manager bounce and a good early run of wins, largely over the bottom sides. A late season collapse of 2 points in last 5 games saw them blow Champions League football and finish 6th on 66 points.

Same number of points, 66 were amassed last season and luckily that was good enough to finish 3rd. 3 cup semi final defeats and itā€™s now the longest trophy drought since the late 1980ā€™s.

Itā€™s a bit of a stretch to say heā€™s done a good job. Heā€™s just about kept his head above water. The eternal goodwill towards him for what he did as a player have helped him too. That sounds a bit like Tottenham style doing well though. Itā€™s winning League and Champions League that determines whether youā€™re doing a good job at Old Trafford.

Heā€™s done okay to a point but heā€™s no Guardiola, Klopp or Ancelotti. This season is make or break. If theyā€™re not challenging hard for the title, he should be out on his ear.

Heā€™s done a brilliant job. He took over a complete and utter mess. A job nobody wanted. He steadied the ship and has improved the team. Heā€™s cleaned out the squad and signed some very decent players as well.

Thereā€™s a really bizarre agenda against him for no reason.

This season will tell a lot alright but again heā€™s been let down by the board in the transfer market repeatedly. If he had Bruno for a full season they would have easily finished with 80 plus points.

Nobody wanted one of the best paid jobs in the World at one of the richest football clubs in the world?

A job nobody wanted? Itā€™s the Manchester United job. What are you on? They gave it to a novice whoā€™s only managerial experience was getting Cardiff relegated and a few years in the part time Norwegian League.
