Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane Backers

Surely Jim McGuinness is a front runner for this?

he got Dunfermline to a cup final didnā€™t he.

He has 8 trophies won since he took over Dundalk. Got them to a Europa league group stages.

All playing decent football.

Job is oxo

The job, is, oxo.

The last home grown manager was run by the players who were laughing up their sleeves at them.

Kerr?

He was shafted

Job is miles too big for Kenny

How much would the others cost?

Give him 2 years.

The players canā€™t afford to be fucking elitist can they. A bunch of journeymen and Championship lads couldnā€™t surely laugh at Kennyā€¦ whoā€™s at least got a side to European group stages, more than most of the current squad could ever aspire to

Joe schidmt should head up the appointment committee.

The players had no respect for him. They were splitting their sides laughing at him doing his video analysis. ā€œHereā€™s Gorgyelenko here now Damien, Iā€™ve studied him, watch how he cuts in from the left every time onto his right pegā€. Half of them wouldnā€™t even take off their headphones when he was talking.

Nonsense. The other Oā€™Neill followed the same path and heā€™s done fine. Heā€™d be cheap too. Although Iā€™m not sure where the narrative that Dundalk play good football came from. I watched them against limerick this year and it was all hoof ball to Hoban

Northern Ireland is about 1/4 the size of the republic.

I watched them in the Europa league and they played nice stuff. back before they lost half their team to Preston.

your logic doesnā€™t compute. Oā€™Neill has worked miracles.

Iā€™d like to see Mccarthy get it as heā€™s great, but Kenny should be appointed, and given a decent go at it Imo, not turned on at the first opportunity.
He should be given the obdurate backing that o Neil and Keane were.

And he has them playing better than the republic. Iā€™m sure you have a point Iā€™m just not sure what it is?

In fairness, Iā€™m laughing at that

Kerr was ahead of his time. Theyā€™d be doing it as standard now at all their clubs and would have thought nothing of it. Like that lad who pitched up at villa and tried to get them to do proper S&C training at the start of the 90s and was laughed out the door by the players because they thought drinking 10 pints on a Wednesday was fine

Big Mick was 2/1 on Sunday. I got a text telling me to back him as it was nailed on regardless of Denmark result. Alas, I did not back him.

Mick
