Was there for a few pints last night. It looks class in fairness, they’ve spent a fortune on the place. It was wedged.

Did you ever eat in Foley’s at the Pike ?
Ate there for the first time recently. While it was decent, I can’t help but think it’s over rated and probably has its good reputation due to the portion sizes, which are huge.

The Springsteen factor.

Not sure, was that formerly the bucket (ferrybridge)?

Had to Google it, Ardagh. I’m guessing it’s not worth a detour? There’s not many options on that road.

Peader’s in Ardagh is very good. The former chef at the Pike is there now!

Foley’s is only just off the road, not really a detour and worth eating there alright if your passing that way. As you say options are limited on that road.

Some brave fella has taken on the job of painting de bucket,he must have started last night cause you wouldn’t be painting on the road during the day

Back in the day the only way in and out of the pub was by that “door”, now blocked up I think , that opens out onto the bridge.

Anything on around place today in the line of markets, fairs etc

He was doing a bit of painting on the road yesterday morning when we passed it, there was some crowds drinking outside the pub in Kilcornan and de bucket when we passed back at teatime yesterday.

It looks well, better than that awful purple anyways,he’s going building on soon as well

Big crowd expected at Kilmallock mart.

Oh yes, the bank holidays market. Would there be much there ? I’ve never been at it.

Lot of traffic up the street all morning. Will stroll up later on to show the lads the calves.

I bought myself the following, a venison burger, an XL catering size roll of tinfoil and 3 hens
