Kid, if youā€™re having a one nighter, thereā€™s no better way to go. The big bouncy ones are demons for it.

Hard to say, really

I feel like you should be ccing @Tassotti here - the bigger, the better for him

@Balbecā€™s crowd trying to drum up a bit of tourism

That is brilliant. I guess there will be a crowd there again tonight.

BTW - The journalist credited on the article is from Kilmallock.

Riverview, wouldnā€™t you know. There are a number of the indigenous rapper community living up there. There is even a hint in the article:

ā€œAt that stage there were up to 40 people gathered. A number of cars and vans had parked upā€™.

The County Minor Football Title appears in Kilmallock every decade or so. Some say itā€™s a miracle.

I like the way he specifies the places where it was a topic for dicussion

The so called ā€œapparitionā€ was the topic of discussion in the local pubs, the doctorā€™s surgery and the shops this Friday morning. It is also a hot topic of discussion on social media sites including Facebook.

Working towards the word count

100 new jobs for Limerick announced today by Beckton Dickinson (nope me neither) some medical devices company. Building in the old Unigolf unit in the business park beside UL, so a fair amount of construction jobs in advance youā€™d imagine.
Some amount of science jobs around here.

How is House going since it opened. Well Iā€™d assume or ye would have been on about it!!!

Tipping along nicely alright, but itā€™s post the 6 month mark Iā€™d be worried about it. Theyā€™ll do well between now and Christmas and weā€™ll see how it holds up after that. They are reopening the nightclub down there shortly which might give it another burst. Iā€™ve been in there once and didnā€™t like it all, but it isnā€™t exactly aimed at me. I hope it stays going, good to have choice around the place. One of the lads knows a fella in Squire McGuires and he said the place has been hopping since house opened because people go down for a look and come away out of it complaining about the price :grinning:
Thereā€™s a bit of a pivot towards that end of town lately with Teds reopening, the white house reopening and Jerry Flannerys expanding, not to mention Costelloā€™s changing the carpet.

I was in the reopened Teds lately and albeit it was only around 9-10 and I had one drink as I was driving the general vibe I got is unreal/unbelievable. Anyone else been in there? About half the clientele were auld ones in their 50s or more. Mutton dressed as lamb as my mother would call them.

I went for going in there one night and there was a queue  I asked the bouncer what the story was and he said weā€™d be waiting 20 mins. 20 minutes to get in to Teds :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Strange times indeed.

Was in there the night it opened, nice decor, seemed to be full of 50 year old + relatives of the owners. Looked quiet the last time I was down. Christmas party in Limerick next week, will check it out again.
