I was at a February wedding last year. It was my life partner’s friend’s nuptials and a section of the groom’s pals had iPads at the dinner table to watch the Six Nations rugby football. 
- Like I said, Feb - March are prime times for weddings with no sporting occasions of note on.
Only the self absorbed would schedule their wedding during Christmas*
