The photos are absolutely atrocious. Some fella standing on top of the George hotel with a camera phone, and a shit one at that. “Here’s part of a Castle, taken from a distance, with a shit camera”. “Here’s the roof of a rugby stadium, taken from an even greater distance, with the same camera, by someone who can’t hold the camera straight.”

It’s gas the Fab City slant the article is trying to spin and then the photos make it look like some 1980s uranium enrichment facility waaaaaaay out past the Urals.

There’s a new costcutter after opening beside chocolat which is a really bizarre place, they’ve a stir fry bar serving thai kind of food (just what Limerick needed) as well as a chipper kind of thing in their deli serving fish and chips.

Utterly bizarrely this place has been redesigned about three weeks after it opened. Moved the counters, seating area and a few other things. It’s now a shop with a all you can eat buffett down the back

Looked decent enough actually, but I wasn’t in the mood for all you can eat* so I didn’t sample.

*I’d be asleep on the desk if I tried it

This place closed after 6 months, a bizarre idea.
