Matters regarding Limerick, Limerick Pubs, No Culture allowed

They could ā€¦,

No mate, it reveals that thereā€™s still a load of roaster cunts who think bacon and cabbage is as good as it gets, heaven forbid anybody would want to try something different. Enjoy your ham sandwich.

I worked in a restaurant in Canada back in 2001. It was right on the water and a lot of tourists came in, so it wasnā€™t cheap. Lobster was a big seller, but those wanting to spend less often went for the lobster roll. Think it was about CAN$12/13 at the time (with chips, salad, etc.), and it came on a plate with proper cutlery. Itā€™s different than eating it out in the rain in LK

Are the hipsters from Canteen selling their overpriced food there?

Went up again at lunch. Good crowd around, no extra stalls though. I got the Poutine. It was shite.

I didnā€™t see them anyway.

Have you had it before? Had it in Montreal a couple of times and just didnā€™t get it at all.

I had it recently enough over there and it was savage, but I was twisted at the time so who knows.

Tried it drunk and sober and was never really impressed.

Finished it both times though. Roasters ainā€™t leaving food behind

Was up there at lunch, got the Adare Farm dinner box. Very nice tbf.

Iā€™m willing to declare the event a success, good crowd, nice weather, decent buzz.

Thatā€™s about going rate for a lobster roll. When I was in Boston a lobster roll from a stall at Fanueil Hall was $18 = ā‚¬16. I donā€™t know if the quality will be as good in Limerick.

Thatā€™s a long time ago mate, I think itā€™s unfair to criticise without at least seeing it, Iā€™ve had lobster rolls in a few places in New England and would expect to pay at least $20,
If itā€™s not freshly cooked lobster I will be the first to criticise it.

An absolute mound of pork, chips, fried onions, a bit of crackling and in west Limerick style, a load of stuffing.

I can barely move.

:joy:
Lads selling 5 bob lobster from Lidl to dopes like Smark for 15 bob

Bang on @Ashman.

Mate, a bob is 5 pence/ cents.
Lidl lobster is cooked and frozen (and disgusting) this chap will do no business unless heā€™s cooking lobster on site.

Youā€™re wasting your time explaining the finer details of lobster rolls and quality food to this fella. Perriwinkels would be his idea of a delicacy.
