Matters Regarding Limerick 🏙️

We need to build on the success of the rugby quarter by adding more attractions.

Stringer’s Bell - A small bell that children and diminutive adults can ring.

Stomp a Frenchman - In honour of the Legendary Claw, visitors can ruck on the face of a prone Frenchman.

Rog Casino - For those who like a flutter

Running of the bulls - A series of burly farmers from East Limerick charge at the crowd

Flannerys bars- A number of hostelries named after the great Jerry Flannery

A car will pull up outside in 5 minutes. Get into it.

Now you mention it the adjudicator, a lady who’s name escapes me but spoke in a lá-di-daw tone inferred that the building was in the Georgian quarter.
Now I’m long enough here to be aware that Limerick has approximately 11 quarters but it’s a big win.

Architecture isn’t my strong suit

Edit: the lady’s name is in the newspaper report.

Its a fine choice all the same. Its certainly the jewel of Limerick.

Limerick is awash with jewels, Donkeys, Tom Collins’, Multiple Flannerys, The Cement factory etc……

Ahem, Nancys.

Awash with jewels and medals.

Ah thats adorable.

I walked past it the other day with my bike wheel (I must post about that after). The shop on the corner was selling Limerick flags and rugby books and not much else. So I peeped into the museum. It’s just a dark uninviting lobby with a couple of lifts. A grand place to stand in out of the rain.

The lobby of the Bank If Ireland would be more inviting and better placed to win awards.

New museum paid to enter competition… nice bit of publicity…

It could be the new Cruises Hotel. Everyone from the country visiting town used to go in there to use the jacks.
