The medical students had to do their exams via Zoom from home. UL couldnât find a way to physically separate them in a campus that size. Some of them had problems with laptops crashing, wifi problems etc
The sister said the stag was on a tour of isolated North Tipp hostelries.
A few lads used to skip Sunday mass and roll in there at 11am. I remember going up there to the pub a few nights with my grandparents in the 80s, and it was busy enough.
There was a little shop there as well. Weâd get the newspaper and a Marathon bar after mass on a Sunday. Yer man inside would tot up what you owed him on the back on a brown paper bag and the money would just go into a drawer.
P.S. You could have a smashing beer-fuelled hike from Careys in Toor to Ryans in Killoscully.

The place I described has been closed for a few years and wonât be reopening. Regardless, it wouldnât have been your local.
Ryanâs in Killoscully will be your local. About 3km Iâd guess. Itâs the pub where the interior shots for Killinascully were shot.
Further down the road was one of the best Poitin distilleries around but I think thatâs long gone.
Youâd be in the same neighbourhood as a colleague of @backinatracksuit. Itâs very rural but I suppose youâre still relatively close to Newport, Nenagh, Limerick.
Killaloe wouldnât be too far for a night out either. (by the back roads)

Killoscully would be more of a republican stronghold than Mungret so it depends what kind of pretend RA credentials you seek.
