I’d say you’re right, Emly.
But looks like it’s gone now.
Was a grand spot years ago…
Fella who owns it also sells lawnmowers in Limerick am I thinking of the same man?
He does ya,
I had a couple of drinks in there one night with a pal that lives out that way, he said that the missus (RIP) was the best barmaid he ever saw, it was general consensus that she could fill a bar every night of the week, I don’t recall the reason, it hadn’t anything to do with her looks though (before the inevitable)
Nice lady alright
Auld Jerry Flannery has passed on
We had lunch in Aura today and I thought it was superb, everything we got, 3 starters and 6 mains, everything was lovely,
I always really liked mogul but I can’t see myself passing Aura to go there
10/10
Service ok?
Has seemed too busy on a no of occasions I have been there
It was busy but the service was top class, lovely waitress. The wait for the food was a bit longer than we’d have liked
How many times have you been there?
Sounds great. I’ll have to give it another whirl
Five I’d say
Does that not somewhat contradict the 10/10 rating from your previous eulogy.
Was the wait extraordinarily long that prompted the comment ?
Maybe a 9/10 would have been a more accurate assessment.
I’m unlikely to be in the area, but if serious grubbers like @TreatyStones or @Spidey had an observation they would alert us to it.
Haven’t got there yet but its supposed to be good alright. I’ll have to make it my business to go
OK
Couldn’t ever imagine travelling to Limerick just for a restaurant
I’m always sceptical of places that do Indian/Thai; they’re quite different after all…
I think the Mogul Emperor is top class though, so if this place is on par, I must try it.
Copper and Spice was by far the best Indian restaurant in Limerick (IMO of course) and that’s Indian/Thai as well
I also like Mogul Emporer but on first impressions (9 dishes in total) this place is much better
Nationwide tonight will be about the Dromcollogher fire, could be interesting
Richie Bennis’ father escaped that
