Seems to have been some kind of incident on O’Connell Street tonight also.
He was arrested with a small knife after acting erratically and no one was harmed.
The rumour had been a foreigner was going around with a samurai sword and several children had been injured.
I don’t know what that says about the country. But it’s nothing good anyway.

The article says they responded to an incident around 11. @Jahan had the news at half ten. Which means it must have happened a bit before that. So either Garda response times are fairly slack or @Jahan was going into town to do wreck at half ten
I went into town to do wreck (few handy pints) at 5 and was home at 8. I have a solid alibi Guard.
