Larry Murphy is apparently now residing in a house in Riverchapel which is just beside Courtown.
I see in the papers yesterday that Tracy Piggott is suing her ex fiancé and father of her child for defamation arising from comments he has allegedly made to journalists saying that she had sex with Larry Murphy when he carried out renovations on their house a decade or so ago.
Any news on Larry’s whereabouts?

Indeed. The middle of last week there was a renewed appeal by his family in The Irish Times. I imagine it was covered in the other dailies too. Computer generated pictures of what he may look like today if he wasn’t actually dead and so on.
A campaign seems to be gathering steam to find Blathnaid Timothy who’s been missing for a week. She worked in KPMG, anyone here know her and care to make some wild speculation as to her possible whereabouts? She went off somewhere in a taxi at 8pm…
I see where they have tracked down the taxi driver who says that he brought Blathnaid Timothy to Howth.
Amazing he wasn’t aware of the situation sooner to know to come forward (assuming he wasn’t aware). Could have been the difference between finding this girl alive or dead. I thought this did not get enough coverage when it happened, to be honest. The Joanna Yeates thing in England probably got more coverage in Ireland than this case. Very odd she didn’t take her phone. Sounds like a nice girl by all accounts. Looking forward to finding out what happened.
Very sad case, I hope the agony will not be prolonged for her family. Unfortunately it’s clear it will not end well.
I worked with her for a couple of years… Very nice, friendly girl. The fact she went to howth, only withdrew €60 from the bank machine (probably just to cover the taxi) and left her phone behind doesn’t bode well, but at least the family now have somewhere to focus the search.
Hopefully they get some closure.
Indeed, I think the reason it didn’t get the same media attention is related to the fact that an abduction is not suspected.
Actually saw somebody being taken from the water near Dollymount yesterday after a helicopter spotted someone in the sea and thought it might be she but it was someone local who was in a “confused” state apparently.
Apparently they had already searched Howth as they thought she may have gone there before the taxi driver came forward.
Very sad.
Programme on TV3 there earlier about the disappearance of Annie McCarrick.
Very strange - the criminal experts on it believed that she went to Enniskerry to meet someone, and that this person killed her.
rumour is that someone very close to her killed themselves recently & that she was depressed about it
According to the paper at the weekend when the Gardai examined her computer they found she had been visiting websites relating to suicide.
