Why was he heading Haddington Road direction and not on down Baggot street which was most direct route to Ballsbridge.
Going somewhere else?
Taxi strike, drunk driver, hit and hide body is another possibility.

Am I imagining things or are much more people going missing these days? Or is it just because of Social Media we’re more aware of it and this amount of people have always gone missing?
Not a week seems to go by without a person or two being announced as missing, usually late teens / early 20’s or over 60.
wondered this myself on occasion but like you I think it’s just social media, half of them ‘found’ within hours as well.
A woman from Crumlin who was last seen at 3pm today has been reported as missing. Less than eight hours seems a very short time to be reporting somebody as missing?
what a horrible post
We’ve lost entire half forward lines in less than twenty minutes. It can happen.
The first 24 hours are crucial that’s why a lot more people are being found with early alerts
Surely the first hour is the most crucial of all?
Seriously though, it does seem rather hasty to be reporting somebody last seen driving a car at 3pm as missing at 10:30pm? Christ, I’ve gone missing for days on end numerous times without telling anybody where I was.
Although who knows, perhaps there is a solid reason in this case. There would want to be.
Generally if it garners mainstream publicity then there is a valid reason.
Like the Karen Buckley case, she was only missing a few hours yet it was all over the media because they were obviously tipped off by the police that they a strong reason to suspect something untoward had happened.
TFK GOT A WIPE OUT
some amount of missing people http://www.missingpersons.ie/missing/search.html?county=dublin its fascinating, whats yer favorite case lads?
I often think about just cutting off all my ties in Ireland and never been seen again over at home,it would be some craic, tough on my parents and family though
Trevor Deely or Phillip Cairns. Cairns was the freakiest, Deely the oddest. his route home didn’t really make much sense.
That older couple down in east Cork, the Dwyers was it?
Very very odd story that.
Your imaginary parents and family would be devastated alright
Very weird, the religious stuff probably being important. That car probably left Ireland at some point.
thats a mad one, they never found the car, they must have drove it off a cliff and topped themselves somewhere
Your man Trevor Deely, sure he must have been langered and fell into the river, did they ever search the canal? or he could have been abducted and sold into slavery, that is what might have happened to Philip Kearns
