And I don’t know what you’re saying about “if I’m wrong”. I don’t believe I have said conclusively that this fellow did it, nor have the Gards. It is a very credible but of evidence which has emerged and has been reported on. 
Paul Reynolds is not an impartial source for any Garda related story. He is merely an extension of their press office.

I’ve no reason to doubt her sincerity. But by the same tokenive no reason to accept what she was told as being gospel
A source who had previously come forward in 2011, who withdrew from fear. That source is a supposed victim who spoke to someone directly quoted in the newspaper today.
What you are suggesting is that 1) the journalists haven’t done any reporting on this & 2) multiple people are lying. All they are doing is reporting on a story.
You strike me as the type of crank who hangs around politics.ie, bemoaning everything in Ireland. The media, the politicians- anything “establishment”. Everything and everyone. With people like yourself, you would swear Ireland is a dreadful place to live.
Where has anyone taken it as Gospel? They are just reporting what she has told them directly and what they understand the Gardai have done with the info put forward.

You seem confused. I am talking about the rights and wrongs of reporting the story. I, and the media, haven’t said this chap did it definitvely.
In order for me to be wrong you will have to show that the 1) local Gardai who have worked on this case for years are lying 2) this woman is lying and 3) that multiple journalists haven’t done any background work (like for instance getting quotes from this community worker, so presuming these are made up). Otherwise you are simple spouting half baked conspiracy shite, with a healthy dose of stupidity thinking people bury bad news with good news on a Friday.
