Missing People In Ireland

Gemma O’Doherty is beyond relentless in this Mary Boyle campaign. She’s all but named who she claims killed her again in her latest facebook post. She’s been going after Fianna Fáil for shielding this guy too as he’s a party stalwart apparently. She’s also regularly been picking fights on twitter over it with anyone and everyone from Frances Fitzgerald to Colm O’Gorman.

She is a clown, I haven’t been following her ramblings for a while but she used to just ignore/block people who didn’t go along with her story. Any questioning of her documentary or how the Gard’s she relied on for her spin said conflicting things to other reporters and she just ignores it.

Gemma O’Doherty has lost the plot a bit recently. She was almost hysterically pro-Trump before the US election.

She was treated like shit by the Indo but I’m really not sure about some of the stuff she’s come out with lately at all.

She’s vehemently against anything DOB related. He supported the Clinton Foundation. Ergo, she was pro Trump.

She is against the establishment full stop.

She will give time to and promote any theory which connects a political party, the media and the upper echelons of the Gard’s to a “cover up”.

She’s written a few pieces on Raonaid Murray’s murder for example, which of course screamed conspiracy. She has promoted Garret O’Callaghan’s PI ramblings on Phillip Cairns as well as they suggest cover up.

With Mary Boyle it’s the same. My biggest issue with her on that case was that she froze out people like MB’s cousin, who looked at things serpately to her but didn’t follow her theory fully. That person had the same opinion on who did it, but because it wasn’t juicy enough for her she won’t take it on board. With a person like her she only has to be right once to feel emboldened. TBH I think she would be disappointed if the true stories came out on these things and they were simply evil crimes committed by evil people.

What’s her stance on John Delaney?

Did she not get a big settlement under UD Act ???

Martin O Neill , Roy Keane & Jonny Sexton ???

Her chances of getting another job in mainstream media were ruined by her treatment and her refusal to accept it quietly and the subsequent case.

She knows this and this is what drives a lot of her anger, understandably so.

It’s basically another case of a whistleblower being treated like shit.

That doesn’t mean I agree with all of what she says.

Scenes.

Where are they reporting this?

The new development, which gardaí believe is significant came about as a result of technological advances in the examination of CCTV footage.

Some of that material, VHS footage taken from outside Bank of Ireland Asset Management on the night he disappeared, was recently sent to the UK to be forensically enhanced.

RTÉ News has learned that this footage shows a man standing outside the bank’s office in the early hours of 8 December 2000 apparently waiting for Mr Deely to turn up.

Mr Deely arrives following the Christmas party, just before 3.30am, and is seen speaking briefly to the man before he goes into the office where he meets a colleague and has a cup of tea.

The man is seen waiting outside in the rain for a short time before crossing the road.

When Mr Deely leaves the building after 4am a man, possibly the same man, follows him.

The last image of Mr Deely is of him walking down Haddington Road under an umbrella he got from the office. He has not been seen since.

Jesus.

You really hope they get some closure.

Poor guy.

How identifiable is the man in the enhanced CCTV?

You sound nervous. Have you a bag packed?

This was flagged on a TV3 documentary before Christmas. How has it taken until now for the Gardai to get hold of…

Ah never mind

While this is obviously significant in that a man may have been following him, unless you can see his face it’s not much help really.
