More Things That Are Wrong, just plain wrong

I used to live in West didsbury. Twenty years ago it was a red light district. Its now hipsterville central. We got old and moved to didsbury village. West didsbury is only half a mile from didsbury village so tis all the one really. Quasimodo could pull in the metropolitan, and there are some lovely ladies in there always. It’s the met that did the damage. The barstaff wear aprons and ignore you. Need I say more?
Had my first date with herself in the railway. I thought it was upmarket at the time. Her housemate later told me she said “I can’t believe hes bringing me to the railway”
That Paul massey account is a spoof I’d say.
Google Paul massey Salford.

Mate of his looked after Stevie G back in the day. Same lad was killed recently because of his links to Massey?

TFK at its finest. The block head living in a Polish high rise slagging someone about where they live

I’ve been working on the assumption for years that Didsbury was a piss take name @balbec had invented for where @flattythehurdler lived and he just went along with it.
It’s real. That’s funny.

Fact is sometimes scarier than fiction.

It’s Diddlesbury actually.

Ok, I think you’re making that up

Me too

if its you saying that glas shouldn’t it be #metoo

All these politicians falling over themselves to show indignation and outrage over the cervical cancer scandal.

Government Ministers rushing out in front of each other, each one desperate to show more empathy and compassion than the next. All the while doing practically fuck all to improve the health service other than coming out with a load of empty bluster. Happy to let some hapless civil servant take the fall.

Harris and that Regina Doherty one particular offenders. The first ones in to express their sympathy and say how unacceptable and tragic the whole thing is. A pair of weasels.

So they should keep quiet about it? What hapless civil servant?

no, they should stop wringing their hands, remember theyre the ones around the cabinet table, in power and pull their fingers out of their holes and get it sorted.

I’m not joking, I’ve just received this from my young lads’ school :

Dear Parents/Carers,

The more alert amongst you (more alert than me anyway) will have noted that the final form is a palimpsest of previous forms, thus explaining the discrepancy in numerical orthography. Please could you fill in the boxes 1, 2, 3 (4 has been excised!) and 5 rather than 1 – 8 as instructed at the bottom?

Sorry for any confusion!
