More Things That Are Wrong, just plain wrong

I never really took to that stuff Harry. Iā€™d have it if I was offered but rarely went out of my way to get it.
I was on a relaxant of some sort years ago following a back injury and the old fear was non existent and I was drinking a barrel at each sitting back then.

Give me the money & iā€™ll hand it to you.

Tough Christmas coming for a few fella Harry

That dopey cunt John Perry taking a case against the Fine Gael organisation. Local info indicates that Leitrim candidate Gerry Reynolds (FG) had him beat up a stick before the off via, various ā€œagreementsā€.

I like Gerry, despite our varying allegiances, but that a mutt like Perry thought he could butt heads with the Reynolds dynasty was a tall order. Gerry will, with his carroty top, sequester votes from Swanlinbar to Killeshandra, Bawnboy to Ballyconnell without the entire Leitrim vote populance to top the poll.

A nail-on.

I have American pals who swear by Xanax for hangovers/fear

Yanks and their pills.

I remember vividly when we were facing the Dutch in the playoff for euro 96 in the pre game interviews Big Jack kept mentioning how they had some great players from a very strong A-Jax team.

A Garda getting ā‚¬75k off the state because she got a broken nose from a punch in the face by a man she was watching while detained at the Bridewell. She had ambition to become a Sargent before the attack happened but then suffered post-traumatic stress disorder from the attack.
Surely gardaĆ know what they are signing up for. This has to be an acceptable risk. And what about all the hidings lads who get arrested in the back of the paddy wagons get it in the cells of police stationsā€¦? Will the man who got the clout in Gorey from that Garda get ā‚¬75kā€¦?
Ffs. Danny Reagan gets guns pulled on him most weeks, just gets in with itā€¦

I was nearly involved in a serious car accident at 17:55, I took a call on the hands free and had a heated conversion relating to work and got upset, after I hung up, I was distracted and hit the brake instead of the accelerator, stalling the car on the A3, some lad nearly rear ended me, it was like it was happening in slow motion, I looked in the rear mirror and accepted my fate as he came tearing up behind me, (the after crash scene was clear in my head, cops, ambulances) then bang! his brakes really kicked in and he stopped about 5mm from the rear of my car

Glad to hear you are OK, matey

This is very true. Although it probably wouldnā€™t wake you at 7:00 either.

Here lads, talking of Xanax and stuff like that.
Q 1. Would that stuff be good to banish the ā€˜fearā€™ after a few heavy drinking sessions over the festive period.
Q 2. Assuming itā€™s good .Where would I get some? Under the counter like ā€¦
Q 3. If Iā€™m advised here to procure some, and I went to the doctor to get some, what yarn should I spin him to get it.
