Pulled into Tiredness Kills here for a coffee
Handy place for staying if you’re on POF or into affairs.
I remember when it was all fields, then they built a motorway right through it.
It must be just exclusively for lads either playing away from home or looking to top themselves. Cant think of another reason anyone would actually stay there.
Or live around there
I’d lump them in along with the second group of people I mentioned.
Pulled into Newbridge there for a breakfast roll. You get a much better class of brekkie roll off the motorway.
Brennan’s? Their deli game is strong.
J14 is excellent for food tbf.
Brennan’s that’s the one. A belter of a deli. They can fair pack 'em.
It’s a fucking joke for coffee. Burnt to shit. And it’s pricey as fuck. €1.30 for popcorn.
The j14 one is hopeless i find
if you are headed from dublin to cork or vice versa its either too late or too early too stop
cashel is the perfect position really
same on the N3 towards cavan/navam/fermanagh - you have one at J4 between blaanch and dunboyne - sher you are still in dublin or are almost there
I find the applegreen arrangements to be excellent - the one on the M1 is superb
Very smelly jacks though in Applegreen
Filthy establishments
I like apple green as well, there’s a grand station there not long out of Dublin on the N7, roasters love a Supermacs though
I spend a fortune on diesel in there every week.
I’m convinced maxol lasts longer on a full tank .
I must really do the numbers on it
Anyone fill up in tesco?
I did a few times recently after not doing so for years on some stupid principles that I had.
Seems to last longer than I thought it would.
Delighted that there is a thread for this…
Ballacolla - The ducking Jacks, have they no shame?
I like the Applegreens, but I had a very dry breakfast roll there in the one just outside Dublin on the M7 recently. The one in Birdhill is usually daycent, but they are badly located, too close to Dublin and Limerick either end.
The coffee in J14, even by petrol station standards, is absolutely dire and has really put me off the place. I think my new years resolution will be to make the extra effort to visit the forgotten towns and villages off the motorway in the search for truly exceptional fast food experiences.
