I know this is a very easy thing to say but the general media coverage of this versus those other incidents you mention has genuinely annoyed me.

Obviously I hope they do survive, but they are billionaires and I presume they knew the risks beforehand. Utilising significant public resources to try and save them, when their combined wealth is probably larger than some small nations. when we are letting much bigger numbers drown on a regular basis seems wrong…

Implosion would be the best way to go in this situation. If that happened, apparently they would have possibly heard a bit of creaking and then would be liquidised before knowing what was going on.

Not my great granuncle anyways

I was reading the window was only certified to a depth of 1300m, the wreck is around 4000m.

NEVER LISTEN TO SOMEONE WHO TELLS YOU THAT YOU CAN’T

SURROUND YOURSELF WITH POSITIVITY

Did they have a few diversity hires?

I think the shitty diver hires were the problem.

Let us pray

Some the gear was past its ‘Best Before’ date by 5/6 years too I read.

Imagine cutting corners at 250k a pop.

Think it was more age diversity if I read it right earlier.

COME ON POSITIVITY ALWAYS

TBF your man himself is in the sub. So he must have thought it was safe. Be worse if he had some ape driving it for him

It’s honestly like something you’d expect to see off a pier in Kerry where they’d tow you 50 yards off the coast and demand another 50 quid before they’d bring you back in.
