Agreed, Limerick by at least 5 or 6.
As previously mentioned, Corkâs All Ireland was when they ambushed a shockingly poor Clare team.
we would maybe have more on the subs than the team with fitzgibbons
bugler has one as does patrick kelly (clarecastle) donal tuohy, donal odonovan, john conlon, caimin Morey (not sure if he is still on the panel) enda barrett, johnathan clancy and the recently departed james mcinerney. I have a feeling nicky o
connell and sean collins might have one as well but i couldn`t be sure

In Corks case in hurling and football in recent times it ha helped put a team together. Cork have 10 lads from one team on the Senior squad now, all winners. You would never get 10 from a Minor team.
how many from the tipp minors that won the all ireland a few years back were on the squad that won a senior in 2010
Thatâs the post of someone who knows they are completely wrong. KK doing it well one way with the resources they have does not mean another way of being successful is wrong.
You may not know this, but all Corks development squads are now based around UCC & CIT and they use those facilities. They have Cork Development CIT A&B and Cork UCC A&B team at every age. They will be getting better coaching and development with this assistance.
which has given a huge boost to underage hurling in north cork. was talking to one of the clare development officers at the weekend and he has great respect for the cork gdas that he knows but reckons their job is impossible due to the numbers they have to cover. the net result is that if you are tall as a kid and from the city you have an infinitely better chance of getting on the squads than a kid from a less well off background in the country whose parents simply can
t afford to be driving up and down to cork.
considering how good a set up there is in mallow and how central it is it seems mad that there is so little use of it

Correct, they need another 8-10 GDAâs.
On your Tipp Minor question, Iâd say 6 or 7 played Senior.
I am not, nor ever have, said that other ways of bringing hurlers thru doesnât work.
This is not some magic plan by the Cork CB to bring hurlers thru. Much has happened due to chance and excellent coaches at the colleges and alot of Cork lads in UCC & CIT together at one time. But what it has shown is how it can work, for Cork, and maybe Limerick. Wonât work for anyone else.
Bad news for Cork and for Jimmy Barry Murphy, Brian Murphy suffers serious shoulder injury in Bride Rovers win over Ballinhassig, looks bad.
Everything points to a limerick all Ireland.

Paudie Palmer reports on 103fm that Cork hurler Brian Murphy has fractured his collarbone in the Bride Rovers-Ballinhassig Cork SHC clash.
Murphy would be a loss if he is ruled out. Cork would still be raging hot favourites in a fortnight though.
Cork will put out all sorts of rumors, masters at it! Seanie McMahon was back in 2 weeks.
Lorcan McLoughlin will be back anyway. I too fully expect to see Brian Murphy on Mulcahy at the throw-in.
He fractured it? Wonât make Limerick game, should be back though.
Even if the Bould Thady Quill himself togged out for Cork it wouldnât make a difference.
Dunno, finding it hard to see it myself
Rebel woe as broken collarbone ends Murphyâs year
Tuesday, July 02, 2013
The Cork hurlers have been dealt a blow with the news that defender Brian Murphy will not feature again this year.
By Denis Hurley
Murphy was forced off injured in his club Bride Roversâ county senior hurling championship win over Ballinhassig at PĂĄirc UĂ Chaoimh on Sunday, and it has now been confirmed that he has suffered a broken collarbone.
He will undergo an operation tomorrow to repair the damage, and with a three-month recovery period needed, it means he is ruled out of Sunday weekâs Munster final against Limerick and the remainder of the campaign.
âBrian is out, he has a broken collarbone and he wonât play again this year, for club or county,â Cork selector Kieran Kingston said.
Of the Cork side which beat Clare in the provincial semi-final nine days ago, Murphy and Tom Kenny were the only players to have won Munster or All-Ireland medals on the field of play, and Murphyâs injury is the latest to befall Jimmy Barry-Murphyâs side.
Captain Pa Cronin missed the Clare game as he recovered from a bout of pneumonia â with Murphy having stood in as skipper â while LorcĂĄn McLoughlin was also absent with a shoulder problem.
In addition, attacker Paudie OâSullivan had already been ruled out for the year after suffering a broken leg.
There is some good news, however, with the availability of Cronin for the Munster decider in the Gaelic Grounds.
âPa will be available for selection,â confirmed Kingston.
âItâll probably come a bit too soon for LorcĂĄn as heâs not back in training yet, though.â
Unbelievable loss for the season. Must have been an awful break though, 3 months seems very long, usually dislocation is worse and about that period before training.
Thatâs a tough blow. Who will slot in?
Didnât Murphy man-mark Kelly v Clare? Would imagine heâd have done the same v Hannon for Limerick. Will be a big adaptation in the backs for Cork.
He did a great job on Kelly though Davy was serious remiss in not moving Kelly. Heâs a big loss alright, great experience.
Reading over on Hoganstand that the ticket allocation to the clubs at home has been a bit of a shambles and alot of people are going to be pissed off. Iâd doubt thereâll be anyone short tickets on the day but you might have auld fellas or families having to take terrace tickets.
I was in the Clare End terrace for the 2008 Munster Final and it was absolutely jam packed (even over in the corner)
