Slightly better average than Bubbles who only has 6-92 (110 points) over 27 championship outings (there was probably half a dozen frees in there and a few sideline cuts) . Jason Forde on 5-88 (101 points) in 26 games, although there was a share of sub appearances there, and his figures are distorted by more regular free taking.
Bond (SOB) has a lovely bit of dirt in him, which youâd want from a corner back. Heâs surprising me tbh, but has worked his arse off to get where he is. Heâll stick to his man, in the way that Paddy Stapleton did for a number of years (and was often quite underrated). Mouse was back on subs last week, so he might spring him yet.
Midfield is a worry for Tipp I think ⌠WOD and Lynch will win that battle
If Tipp are able to create enough space in the forwards. Tipps full back line is a weakness, especially with Barrett out now too. Last week Paudie was allowed sit and protect it, if heâs occupied a bit more the limerick full forward line will make hay. At the other end hannon will be trying to do the same thing.
Putting Paudie under pressure is one of the keys to victory for Limerick. He canât he allowed drift onto too much ball. Ideally heâll be busy chasing after Hegarty or Hayes all day
I knew the stats I just wanted you to see the difference between a mullocker Maher and McCormack and a Hayes and Hegarty.
I doubt it. Noel McGrath is hurling the best he ever has and Breen even when quiet himself doesnât let his man do much

Breen was subbed off after 45 mins last day after being destroyed by WOD- who was practically a 1 man midfield the last day.
Noel is outstanding at the moment. I hate comparing with other sports, but itâs like that season when Gerrard move back into the deep position for Liverpool and was pinging balls all round the place. Of course, he went to shit after that
Breen was tipping away grand. He was giving Robert Byrne a bit of game time. If he thought the match was in any doubt, Sheedy wouldnât have been giving Byrne 25 minutes.
Sheedy didnt twig that Limerick werent trying until around the 55th minute ⌠he was still jumping around like a lepjack until then ⌠when he saw the Limerick subs he relaxed⌠he certainly didnt think the game was done on the 45th minute.
