Josh Wycherley seems like he could be a decent player but just too small for his position. Fineen the same now that I think about it. They should have both been back rows.
Josh best game was the night Munster beat clermont away.
The same night Limerick best Waterford in the Behind closed doors all Ireland.
Josh way too small to be a back row as well ffs
Appeal this afternoon. Be v surprised if overturned was a definite red card
Heās too small to be playing rugby at all in that case. He could have been a fine nuggety seven maybe. Iād say itās too late to make him a scrumhalf.
Hooker.
Think they tried hodnett but he said no to the switch,
Toulon and La Rochelle in for frish.
Murray kinsella says Munster will get some sort of transfer fee.
Carbery
Ben Healy
Conway
Earls
Synman
Zebo
Pom (likely)
Frisch
And a few others will be all gone in two years.
Thatās a lot of talent to replace in two seasons.
A lot of decent players coming through and those losses should free up some wages for a big signing.
Iām trying to think of a player that could have as big an impact on games at this level as Snyman can have, let alone one Munster could sign.
Ardie Savea at 8, and a prop, need a hooker too.
Theyāve barely had Synman so Iām not sure heās the loss people are making out.
Edogbo, beirne, Kleyn and t ahern are excellent second rows. Thereās very good back row options too.
The front is very weak and so are the outside backs.
Itās the level of player he is and the impact he can have on games. Munster are a team of decent quality, heās the kind of world class that can have a big enough impact that can take them from also rans at quarter or semi final stages to proper competitors.
Agree with you the second row options are decent. And agree the front row and outside backs are the weak areas, I said here months ago itās a top class hooker or winger they need to sign.
Iād go for a full back and hooker.
Maybe theyāll move shane Daly to 13.
Yeah he would have that level of impact. Skelton does it. Thereās not that many. Rocky elsom for Leinster types. Presuming the keep Kleyn they can only sign one foreign player, they really need it to be a marquee type signing.
Iād spend the money in the pack and especially front row. Thereās always decent, serviceable outside backs in Ireland. Europe is won with the pack, canāt remember peak Saracens having too many superstars in the backs outside Faz.
My understanding is they can only sign one. Keep Kleyn and they can sign one other foreign player. And Nankivell counts as a project player. Unless they are allowed to bend the rulesā¦
Haley is a decent fullback already which is why Iād go for a winger. I just donāt think Daly is very good.
Whatever about Munster being able to sign them v few of those players around who are absolute game changers
DuPont
Skelton
Ardie Savea
Dan Sheehan
Aki
He just doesnāt have top end pace God bless him.
The starting props are good enough, both Loughman and jager are good players. The back up is thin or retiring. A world class hooker would be the best signing they could make.
Leinster have a few decent props starting to come through. Munster should try poach someone out of their academy. Joe McCarthyās brother maybe.
Would Ronan Kelleher be open to a move? The lad they are getting from Connacht on the wing is supposed to be good and Iād say that is the signing for there.
