?
Yeah Seanie was well liked in Kilmallock. Hard nail.
The story goes that 2 of the Clare panel were approached by a betting syndicate based in Belfast to throw the game. The players declined the offer but needless to say their focus was taken off the game. A fairly substantial sum was offered to the lads in question, took guts to turn down the money.
Seems plausible
Well I have heard it from a few good sources, seems to be a bit of strength to the story.
Were these panelists on the team? Be a bit silly of not.
On the starting 15 as far as I know.
But they did throw the game anyway?
No but obviously their focus was taken off the game.
The same crowd nobbled an All Ireland club semi final some years back.
Whaaaa?? Go on.
Pulled in a 14/1 winner. Got at one of the star players on the other team who had a bit of history.
PM?
No. No pms. Thatâs all Iâm saying.
Played in Parnell? Feel free to PM answer in simple yes or no format
No
Makes a lot of sense really.
Disappointing.
He really is a gas man.

As I suspected.
In fairness there was one or two dirty blows, or clear frees, that I feel the ref let go in Corkâs favour but nothing that swung the game, tho Conlon was a big loss. Clare still had a host of goal chances, which they fluffed, thatâs what Davy should be more worried about.
As for Cork, itâs grand pulling them strokes against kids, but let them try it against our lot and theyâll receive twice as much timber back.
Iâd nearly pay for Kevâs flight home just to thump him in the head.
