Munster Senior Hurling Championship 2018

The extra man lead to nash playing short puckouts. The longer directed puckouts had caused big problems as kearney moved about and byrnes held position. Harney is the only forward who can win the ball in the air.
You will lose every second half with the tactics and bench. You were out pointed by 5 against 14 men at home in the 2nd half.

Won’t bother Galway you mean. Everyone after Galway are a much of a muchness.

Hardly a decent run of play in the entire game. Two poor teams hitting and hoping for the best. Anthony Nash gifted Limerick about 7 points that was the difference.

Interesting to see how much will be left in yer legs for the 2nd half of the clare game. 3 weeks in a row now is it?

If we won next week, it won’t matter a fuck. We can send the 73 team to Ennis

Ye wouldn’t be guaranteed a munster final with 5 points would ye?

Assuming Tipp beat Waterford today.

If Limerick Win vs Waterford and Tipp beat Clare that will suffice for a Munster Final spot

Mathematically you’re right. Cork can finish on a maximum of six. Tipp max of 5 and Clare 6. But that would mean Clare having to beat Tipp which whigh would still see us through in third even ifor Clarence beat us

All Tipp can get is 5 points. We have them on head to head if we get 5. Them getting 5 means they will have beaten Clare who willl only have 4 then… So it comes down to Tipp v Clare really. Clare beat Tipp we will then have to beat Clare.

I think clare will beat tipp. The clare performance against cork is being conpletely written off. They gave cork as big a test as Limerick just were far more wasteful

I certainly don’t want to be going to Ennis needing a result.

I won’t be surprised if Waterford win today

A bit like ourselves today. We’re fucked, being left behind by the new wave…

Probably but at least we’ve a bit of respect for Waterford. The Treaty boys would remind you of new Money.

Cork are a fine team , lovely movement with great touch . However they lack a couple of ball winners in the forwards .

I think their lack of depth to the panel is a bigger issue than ball winners. The sharpness and pace of their forward line will trouble any team in Croke Park but they really lack depth to sustain it for 70 minutes or replace one of their key men if he isn’t performing.

Alan Cadogan is a big loss, they had nothing to bring on last night when they were crying out for fresh legs between 8 and 12. Kingston went well against Tipp but is very boom or burst and most teams would fancy their chances of keeping him under wraps, he is utterly reliant on his pace and has little else to offer once a defender can stay with him.
