Tipp are like a cat with 9 lives
Ah lads. This post is a classic !!!
Is that Tipperary ruled out of a Munster final.
or can they still make it?
I donāt know why they are starting so poorly
but they have fought manfully in second half each week.
The dignity from the Waterford players and management after the game and Waterford contributors here like @Fagan_ODowd really is commendable. Contrast that with the carry on of the likes of @carryharry after Tipperary lost to Galway last year. He was even moaning about Johnny Coen during the Wexford v Galway game yesterday, a full 10 months on.
Tipperary are a proud hurling county
but they are sore losers and even worse winners.
their fans always slaughter the team when
things arenāt going well.
Itās a shame. Tipperary have always produced the
silkiest hurlers over the years.
Post of the year
Derek was extremely well dignifed.
Gentleman.
Hawkeye would have made fuck all difference to the goal call today .
It looked like it was never a goal, and from that point of view, it looked like Waterford were hard done by but they have to take some of the blame themselves.
Same shit again, extra man but operating with no full-forward. Should have left Devine inside and with so much space in front, he would have continued to cause wreck.
What was the correct call on the Ronan Maher point that was signaled wide and then over? Iād just stepped away from the television for about a minute for that one and didnāt see it.
It was a point alright.
Definitely? Looked like it tailed away on the replay
I ran it back a few times and, while it definitely tailed away, I reckon it had already gone over before finally veering off.
Could be wrong, of course, but to me it looked over.
Hawkeye should be brought into all of the grounds hosting Munster senior hurling matches.
cc @Ashman
Have they announced which hurling match, if any, they are showing on tv next Sunday?
Clare v Tipperary would be great.
What time is that game on at? It
would be nice catching that with Limerick on 5 points.
Hawkeye is only calibrated to determine points. Itās not set up to rule on goals.
Itās also very tricky to install in venues with non-uniform structures. Croke Park is fine as itās the same height all the way round but they had awful problems setting it up in Thurles where the two stands are different.
The cameras have to absolutely rigid and are supposed to be unaffected by wind. In somewhere like the Gaelic Grounds some of them would have to be on stand-alone poles and would be almost useless.
Informative rating, mate.
Did not know thatā¦makes sense.
Limerick Waterford is at 2. So ClareTipp will be at 4.
