Great setting and crowd. This new system is great.

Clare looked much better this week

Great to see Conlon on form. Great player.

Definite red card. Dumb as fuck. Kelly should have got up.

Waterford have discipline issues. Always a reflection of management.

I like mcGrath but his pig headed Ness eventually ruined this team.

Waterford are made to implode.

The standard of hurling these days is so so high. Already more games is having an effect. OK maybe a week in the middle of the league system off for everyone would be fair next year, but it’s already working generally.

This is how I see it going.

Next week

Cork beat Limerick - solely cos I am from Cork and we are Andrew at home. Nothing between teams really though
Tipp beat Waterford

Last games are then madness between Clare and Limerick and clare-Tipp

I think Clare beat Tipp (I do not happen to think yesterday is a Tipp arousal) at home.

I know this debate is going nowhere and I should know better, but just on this.

If you are going to roar in a fella’s face, you can expect to get a bit of a dig. It’s not something I would condone (the roaring) but it’s usually due to a player getting a bit of abuse themselves, they answer it and give it back to them. Which presumably is what happened with Kelly, he won a free and you’re fairly fired up with the adrenaline and he had a go at Tommy Ryan. I would think a bit of a shoulder is a natural enough response to that.

Gillane is always roaring at fellas, those Patrickswell boys are an awful shower. But I’m sure he’d be expecting an oul dig in return.
