English has been the full back all the way up along agreed. The thing is M Casey isnt quick enough in my opinion for corner back at senior inter county level.
He was found out there badly last year in the Munster championship vs Clare for at least 1 goal. He has acquited himself v well at the highest level in club hurling mate and did steady the ship when he came on against Tipp. I think he deserves the shirt marginally vs Richie McCarthy.
I donāt think we can afford to move Richie English from corner back.
One thing on Casey is that when he did come on v Tipp we were calmer and likewise when he went off v Cuala Nap were v panicky. I think English and Finn want to be man marking close to goal. Likewise casey. Cork are going to drag these three all over the shop tomorrow.
Iād agree re English but I think itās a wild assumption to compare hurling in the bog for nap to what heāll face tomorrow. Kiely has rolled the dice big time imo. Casey is 23 never played behind hannon or infront of Nicky. Huge challenge.
Lehane doesnāt really drift out the field or play deep. He pretty much has the freedom to go sideline to sideline and runs hard into space. Kearney will be the one who will roam and go derp and Cork will rotate the other five and look to pull defenders out of position and try and get the odd mismatch.
