An awful pity that Derek couldn’t get more out of Stephen Bennett back around 2016/17 when they were very close to the Holy Grail. He only really became a significant player for them at senior level in 2018 when Waterford had a down year in the round robin. The player he has developed into is exactly what the 2017 team was lacking.
A massive independent review of Tipperary GAA is needed - both the senior hurlers and footballers are in an awful state - can’t see the county board getting much response looking for €1k from each club.
You’re implying that Tipp are shite because the rest of the hurling world have moved on and no longer play the game that Tipp are accustomed to. It’s time for ye to piss or get off the pot
Tipp are absolutely useless as has been mentioned numerous times by every Tipp poster on the forum.
We actually had a few Limerick’s trying to build up Tipp at various stages, saying “I like this guy and that guy” (the same fellas who’ll tell you Darragh Fitzgibbon doesn’t have it) but the plain hurling people of Tipperary who know their stuff have been unequivocal for some time and have been proven right.
Umpire went to lift both his arms as if it was a wide signal and then stopped and followed instruction from someone in his eye shot and signalled a 65. I didn’t see it earlier either but that’s what the Sunday Game coverage just showed
