Me and a few pals (male and female) have an unspoken ritual of retreating after an impromptu booze night in the pub to one of our places to dance and sing to various classic numbers, mainly 80s actually, to all hours of the morning.
Staples would be:
Waterboys - Whole of the Moon
Tears for Fears - Head over Heels
Simple Minds - Don’t You Forget About Me and Alive and Kicking
KC and the Sunshine Band - Give it Up
Usually some Smiths
Blur - To The End
Van Morrison - Into the Mystic/or whatever you’re having yourself
Funkadelic - Tear The Roof off the Sucker
Add this one pal,
Transvision Vamp : Baby I Don’t Care
OMC - How Bizarre
Steve Winwood - Higher Love
Blue - Girls and Boys
Reef - Place Your Hands
James - Sit Down
House of Pain - Jump Around
Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch - Good Vibrations
Dr. Alban - Mr Vain
Iggy Pop - Real Wild One
Oasis - Shakermaker
Jaysis that new Arcade Fire tune is a bit good. Couldn’t believe it was them (which isn’t too surprising seeing as it’s basically a James Murphy backing track with their tune)

Actually do you have a recommendation for a website or some other source to get tickets for sold out gigs?
I don’t, there was still tickets available for his Galway gig tomorrow night up to a few days ago, could still be. I turned down one. The hipster cunts that would attend his gigs would utterly repulse me.
Last few tickets for tonight and tomorrow have gone onsale on the National Concert Hall website - www.nch.ie. Thanks to following the venue and James Vincent McMorrow on Twitter and keeping a keen eye on my Twitter feed, I was able to procure tickets for tomorrow night. Now I can string along the touting cunt who I’ve been in contact with on Gumtree before the pulling the plug.
Another fad… Remember last year how you were banging on about Alt-J?? I beleive they are the laughing stock of the music world these days. You need to stop following trends and start becoming your own man.
