National Hurling League 2012

They should go for broke at put pat in at 6

Agreed.

Big game for the likes of Ryan, Collins, Kelly and Bugler. With Tipp next week in the WC followed by Antrim and Laois in the league you would feel that some of the younger/newer lads will be blooded in these games. A poor showing tonight and they could find it hard to get back in

Lovely evening for it. Side line cut for Limerick lead 1-5,0-4.

Waterford are going nowhere fast by the looks of it

Great hurling from Clare towards end of half. Lead by 4 now. Limerick got last 2 points though so its gonna be great 2nd half

Cork 3-8 Waterford 0-7 at half time. I’ve been watching the other game though because of our Division 1B existence. :guns:

any link for the games?

Conor Lehane was supposed to have impressed for Cork tonight

Can’t read anything into that, Waterford were shite. Lehane scored 6 from play, MOTM obviously. Massive crowd there, shame the game was so poor.

Waterford were shocking. Commentator reeled off a few names that they were missing but thats no excuse for the brainless aimless muck they served up tonight.
Cork hurled nicely, good intelligent stuff at times, but the blaas were so bad it would be hard to read anything into it.
This lark of calling the cork manager by his initials a la the soccerball manager of chelsea will have to cease.

I called that correctly. Ryan will be gone before the knockout part of the championship. Ken McGrath was twisting the knife already on Setanta. Quite a number of the Waterford players looked quite overweight.

+1

No harm to keep the feelgood factor going for a while though. Besides, it was important to actually get that win under the belt. Can’t see Waterford beating anybody so the prospect of relegation is now unlikely. On top of that, I thought all the younger players played fairly well, and Lehane was obviously excellent. So definitely a positive night, but it would be wise not to read too much into it.

Yous were told.

Offaly leading 14 man Laois by 11 points at the break in Tullamore

Good half of hurling in Nowlan Park. Kilkenny are moving it around very nicely at times, some good scores got but a few poor wides as well.
Tipp are hanging in there, hurling well in patches but nearly everything they’ve done so far has gone through Noel McGrath.

2-17 to 0-15
A good start for the All Ireland champions. Ah it’s good to be back in the swing of things.

ps. fuck tipp

Offaly finished it off in a canter, 1-27 to 0-18. Teddy has a bit of work on his hands.

Galway 0-20 0-13 Dublin

Dublin wouldn’t score a goal in a month of Sundays but that said minus JC we didn’t create many goal chances,
Dublin didn’t make the most of playing with and rely too heavily on scores from placed balls.

oops nm

Que?
