National Hurling League Division 1A, 2013

Tipp 1-11 Clare 0-6 at half-time. Tipp well on top.

HT: Galway 0-8 Waterford 0-3

HT: Kilkenny 0-7 Cork 0-7

Galway way too physical for Waterford. That said this Stapleton lad refereeing is some tulip.

Kilkenny are woeful up front. :frowning: lucky to be level at half time. Ritchie hogan missed a penalty. He is carrying a bit of weight as well.

The Laois fella?

Hope to fuck Kilkenny win this game in Nowlan Park. We’re playing them in the relegation play-off if they don’t.

Filth from Tyrrell

Clare-Cork in the play-off. Galway, Tipp, and Kilkenny in the semi-finals unless Waterford get a late goal.

Full-Time Scores:

Waterford 0-12 Galway 0-15
Tipperary 3-19 Clare 1-14
Kilkenny 0-20 Cork 2-12

Should have won that, we went at full belt with KK treating the game like a friendly until the last five minutes.

Clare will be a disaster of a game for us. When will it be on?

Eh Clare hammered the living shit out of us in Cork a few weeks back.

Anthony Stapleton made some very odd decisions in this Galway Watetford match.

Good win considering the brutal start and overall poor performance.
Cork should have been 8 up after the first ten minutes, we hardly saw the ball. They hurled it cleverly and found the space and passes that should have punished us.
Once we settled we did enough.
Have to be happy I sppose.

Good win for Galway. Glennon is now a guaranteed starter come the summer.

Glennon was the difference between the teams alright.

Galway appear to have spent the winter practising the Kilkenny fouls - holding the opponents hurley, grabbing the arm of the opponent as he runs past. Fouls for which a free is never awarded.

Agter their recent bitching session I told the lads over on stripeymen that we are learning from the masters and they should be proud.

Tannian should have walked. Burkes goal should have stood though. Some amount of easy wides for Waterford if they had Mullane they would have walked it. Our half forward line were non existent at the end, at least we won with canning probably playing as poor as he can. Stapleton has always been a shite ref.
