He also featured strongly in Silvermines County Intermediate championship winning team. Very good free taker and lethal penalty taker @ underage. Very high hopes for him in the County but he is still very young so i don’t expect miracles this year as such. Being part of the panel will him on a tonne. One to watch imo.

Offaly have won the last 2 Leinster clubs, at a time their co side is low. Hurling alive and well, their football team is at an all time low. Offaly have always lacked a school structure and in the absence of that you need a county dev squad or centre of excellence which the lazy kunts have never bothered to put in place. They will rise if they reform, and it could happen quite quickly in that demented oasis. The success in the 80s and 90s can be traced to a single figure in birr I think it was fr fogarty ? Might have that priests name wrong
