Sops is nigh-on unbeatable up until and including the very end. I can’t think of another series that finished so perfectly. People will be trying to analyse the shit out of those last scenes for decades. Breaking Bad finished too… cleanly, for want of a better word. Once it was done, it was done, the TV was turned off and I genuinely never gave it a thought since.

I finished the new season of Sunderland documentary last night. It was great stuff again. The new chairman Stewart something seems an alright sort, his wife is one for the roughish birds you’d shag thread. Your man the public school educated sidekick with the black slicked back hair is a bit of a prick in comparison. There was a very obvious feud between him and the Northern Irish bird who was head of media or whatever. They couldn’t stand each other, he’d be giving presentations and she’d be at the back of the room rolling her eyes. He made shit of her on the day they were trying for the league one attendance record when he told her go get him a beer, she was quietly seething about it. Another flash point then when she said the attendance figures would come through at half time or they wouldn’t and he said “No. You will make sure they facking do come through, not maybe.” :grinning:
