Netflix

Yes. Three parts to the HBO one, filmed over about 20 years.

Where can you watch it?

If you have a vpn you can watch on amazon prime or hbo.

Iā€™m sure there are streams knocking about for it. Think I watched it on Vimeo back in the day but canā€™t find it there now

Ive never mastered the world of vpn for ipad

2 not great movies but very watchable movies on Netflix.
The Siege of Jadotville about Conor Cruise O Briens fuckery down in the Congo that time and the great stand from Commander Quinlan and the Irish contingent. one of who was in the news this week for also having survived the corona.

And one for the Things I learned today thread maybe but interesting to see Lord Roose of the House Bolton playing CCoBs little bitch in this

Also, no doubt mentioned already but Contagion needs to be watched. The movie is far from the sum of its parts but compelling viewing in this, our hour of crisis. Staggering to think a Hollywood blockbuster got so close to the mark of the whole epidemic experience just 9 years ago

I watched this years ago and ended up reading further about it. The docs leave you feeling those young lads were blackguarded but the more I read about the case the less I was convinced about their innocence. Iā€™ve forgotten a lot of the details now but remember I came around to the conclusion Echols did it. Heā€™s an utter freak.

Nairobi :sob:

Did you watch it whole lot yet? How did Carapaz & Nario get on elsewhere?

Nairo has gone to a small French team (Arkea Samsic) and won a few hilly races in France this season. Havenā€™t seen Carapaz feature much for Ineos yet rode the Tour of Colombia.

Watched this over the course of the last week. Thought it was fairly poor too, but stuck with it despite its many limitations. Not avid watchers of TV/Netflix series and only selected this one as it was one of the newest listed.

I switched off Tiger King halfway through the second episode last night. I found it to be absolute rubbish

About 2/3rds way through it now. Much less access to players than the 1st series. All about Stewart, Charlie and Jack. With a few comments from McGeady and Oā€™Nien or whatever his name is. They must have scared off the rest.

Itā€™s really good, stick with it

Turns out I was at the European premiere of the third one (sounds glitzy but it was in a cinema at a music festival in UK)

Think its actually okā€¦the posh fella is obviously a bell end but he at least knows what he is doingā€¦the crew reporting into him are fucking useless

Marketing is some spoof of a job

Youā€™d imagine theyā€™ll be a thing of the past just before the accountants by a couple of weeks.

Surely both can be done via an algorithm fully next year.

Have thrun on The Bodyguard (the mini-series) there tonight. It is well daycent I must say. Any fans of Line Of Duty should give it a belt.

Itā€™s excellent. Better than recent seasons of line of duty IMO

I was thinking the same. Theyā€™ve obviously set him up to be the joke of the series, but I thought he was doing a decent job. He wanted 40k to break the record and your one from NI said there was no chance it would happen and they got what 46k? He was dealing with a place full of people who just say no that canā€™t be done. Nothing worse than that, itā€™s a disease that infects a business.

He was an awful cunt though. But thatā€™s marketing I guess
