A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after three children were found dead at a house in London.

Officers discovered the bodies after being called to the property in New Malden, south London, at around 9.30pm yesterday.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A 43-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”

A neighbour, said the family, originally from South Africa, were “really, really lovely people”.

She said they moved into the large semi-detached house in Thetford Road with their four children a year ago.

She said the three younger children, four-year-old twin boys and an older girl, were suffering from genetic disorders, believed to be life-limiting.

However, the eldest child, thought to be around seven or eight years old, was in good health.

She said the father works in the city and that the mother is a full-time carer for her children.

Neighbours said the family moved into the house after it underwent a “massive” refurbishment, including the installation of a lift.

“They are very nice people and very, very decent. She is such a lovely person, her life revolves around the children,” one woman said.

She said the family have a nanny and help from carers.

The woman is being held for questioning in a south London police station.

A police officer was standing on the doorstep of the address this morning.

Crime officers were earlier seen leaving the property carrying evidence bags.

So one child wasn’t killed? Jaysus.

On the face of it, it sounds a bit like that Dunne family case in Wexford a while back.

Terribly sad in any case.

Sounds like the mother snapped…

…or thought she heard a burglar

Some of the kids had some disabilities or sicknesses I read.

Yeah, I read that too…in the article posted above.

Two sources of information so.

Looks like you might be on to something. Good sleuthing.

Julian must have had a relapse of the gayness.

They’ll pin it on Vic Mackey.

Oscar Pistorious has sacked his legal team and hired Celtic’s after hearing that they lost both legs and still won.

That’s a joke I wish I’d written.

Are the verdicts in yet?

no she’s reading her summation of the events here, apparantly this is called the verdict
as there is no jury here there seems to be a very slow buildup to the main event, as the judge is stuttering thru this in pigeon english, surely it should be Afrikaans?

that proesecution laywer Nel or whatever his name is seems a total cunt tho, i think Oscar may mug them off here as the judge is casting doubts on some of the witnesses from the police and that oscar may have sufferred from some anxiety dirorder.

UPDATE- oscar had no control over his actions DISMISSED by the judge…

my money is on murder

murder with life 4/11
manslaughter 5/1
not guilty 50/1
@Joe Player ?

the defense are fucked
the judge he made a conscious decision to shoot…

murder backed in to 1/4…

man… he’s bolluxed
