Honest to god, played two games and was told forget about it, pure cowardly, once he would ship any kind of a tackle he didn’t want to know, he has been on the clare panel for 3 of the past 5 years I would say and made little impression probably down to the fact he is windy as sin, I believe the same lad lorded it at centre back with KIB at 21’s level a few years ago…In saying that Brian O’Connell/Nickey O’Connell and a few of the Gaelic lads would be some of the best players in the league…

Its Junior soccer Puke, and i’m not slagging it, i’ve played plenty of it myself. I presume the best teams would be around the standard of Peakevilla, Fairview Rangers etc.

A notch or two below the likes of Fairview and Pike, the top 5 or 6 in Clare would easily hold their own in the Limerick City(district league)

Didn’t get my post off in time before that try but I’d be astonished if NZ lost. They’re not playing well alright but they have another gear, as they just demonstrated. Bit more hard running from them and I fancy they’ll get themselves another try or two.

I think Pook and Hope’s call for Lievremont to go was a bit premature. I’m pretty sure New Zealand gave France a few unmerciful wallopings in 2004 and 2006 but France still beat them in the World Cup. Lievremont’s tenure has been always been about experimentation in friendly matches.
