Official All Ireland Minor and U20 Hurling & Football Thread (Part 2)

Willie Ryan from Toome in this year too. Couple of lads from the Garda College too doing the fitness I presume. Kelly from Ballinahinch and a Ray Doyle fella

I’m awaiting the Bossman’s verdict. He’s below at it.

I’d suspect it’s the best he’s ever seen.

The fucking head on Lowry.

Fair to say a two man advantage has never been used worse

Criticism of the U17 grade will be hard to come by now. Several great tussles this year. Might not see that game topped at any level in 2024.

That was terrible from Kilkenny.
Heroic stuff from Tipp.

The repeat of Killinaskully on Rte 1 will be extra sweet for the Tipp lads tonight.

This team doesn’t know when it’s beaten, we love our hurling in Tipp :pint: :pint:

This is one of the great Minor teams. Could have given MOTM to anyone of 10 of them.

The two Ryan’s from Arravale Rovers were brilliant.

Was thinking it will end up being up there with Brendan Mahers group when he was captain.
Too early to talk about senior prospects but there will be a good clutch of them that will be outstanding. We’ll have a fine senior team in a few years if they can stay off the bag.

The strength in depth was something else too. The Tipp subs who came on were brilliant hurlers in their own right. You were right to call for Cantwell before extra-time. It’s rare that you’d see subs that strong on an underage team.

Only Tipperary can save hurling now.

A tsunami of young lads coming through.
