Very, very convincing displays by both Ulster sides.
Great display by both Ulster finalists hammering both the Connacht teams yesterday, who had contested last year’s All Ireland final. Rather than being in a pitiful state it seems that football is thriving in Ulster at minor level at the minute. Tyrone arguably had the best team in Ulster but lost ofn penalties to Monaghan who in turn lost on penalties to Derry in the final. Clearly very little between the 3 sides. Big difference between the Connacht and Ulster sides yesterday.
Also important to compare that to the competitiveness of the MacRory Cup Omagh CBS came out of and then the fact they cakewalked the Hogan after.

Ding dong battle on in Tullamore. Kerry and Monaghan level.

Monaghan get the job done. First time in a minor final since 1939. Kerry had a couple of late goal chances but the Farney keeper was good.

Ive watch these lads a few times. Their build up play is very slow at times. They would be much better getting it in to full forward line quicker.
