I don’t know lads, I know he’s right there and it is his job, fair enough. But I didn’t see it in real time, neither did the commentators, the Cork player standing a foot away didn’t try and claim it (now Cork did claim for a free in for lying on the ball which I think they were right in).

It looks obvious when you slow it down but I wouldn’t be certain that a referee acting as an umpire calls that either.

Very ordinary Tipperary team. They would want to be wary of the Offaly revenge motive, lots of hurt from that minor final. Think the Biffos will beat them well.

The two best teams this year at u20 grade were Cork & KK who both did spectacular bottle jobs to lose.

Tipp, Offaly, Clare and possibly Galway be all thereabouts next year.

Ordinary Tipp team may be a tad harsh, there’s a huge amount of good players on that team. McCarthy, O Donoghue, O Farrell, Daly, Horgan and O Halloran.
