Official All Ireland Senior Football Championship 2011 Thread

ā€œOn a number of occasions before that, I felt I was being fouled and there was one incident just before where I was being fouled and the referee decided to play an advantage and I was falling over taking a shot and got no advantage ā€” so I felt I was due a free,ā€ Brogan wrote in his column on www.hill16.ie.

"I was just running for a ball and the defender got too close to me and my feet and his got caught up and tangled and I couldnā€™t run freely and my way was being impeded. ā€œ

Iā€™m with Berno. Andriu (FFS) is a filthy wee fook.

Could you not open your mind a tiny little bit to other peopleā€™s opinions, Farmy?

Too easy Bro.

Tell him on twitter sure, iā€™m sure heā€™ll be over the moon.

Can you give me Andriuā€™s twitter ID there, canā€™t say I ever saw him on the twitter machine mate? Granted I have told him heā€™s a dirty wee fook in the past, but no harm to do it again.

Never knew you were a nordie

Farmy/Farmerinthecityā€¦

Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn, Finkle/Einhorn

Finkle IS Einhorn :o

I am of Ireland Runt.

Oh the hint again that you are a former county player.

I was on about Bernard Brogan though, although by the way you talk about him you must surely have his number, so probably just easier to text him.

Holy fuck.

A new lowā€¦

Classic caoimhaoin

Ah lads, I meant shouting it over the fence at him. FFS

Ah now Runt, you let yourself be led by caoimhaoins insanity, you should know better. Thought it was obvious enough myself. Next thing weā€™ll have caoimhaoin claiming Iā€™m Colm Parkinson again.

Presumably from the terrace rather than the stand?

Naturally Mac, naturally

why thank you, would love to see, how many of the dublin scores that alan brogan was involved in,id imagine it was the majority. If we stop him we can stop dublin.

Absolutely bang on, him playing there is key. The stats are somewhere, but it think the guys who do the best compilation sell them privately. I have seen them before, but its always been well after a game, post season in fact if i remember correctly. Possibly some privacy issues, maybe?

who would want to buy stats after a season is over?

Ah no, i came across them post season. I didnā€™t buy them or i donā€™t know anyone who did. I was looking into stats in the GAA in general and came across one nordie crowd working out of Jordanstown that had a great model and also took the right stats. Youā€™d be amazed how many fellas have taken pretty useless stats and left out fundamentals. I contacted RTE about them but they never responded.

Anyway there seems to be nothing central going on yet which is a disgrace. Those lads in Waterford sell products alright to teams, but thats fior their own use and you (should) never get them.

Donā€™t most teams have their own people that analyze games and produce a report to players at the first training session after a game? Who else would really be interested in info apart from a few nerds and upcoming opposition?
